Movies

One of the movies I’ve watched is “How to Train Your Dragon”. It was nominated for an Academy Award last year. The summary is: Hiccup is the son of the chief Viking. The Vikings live in the village of Berk, which is being attacked by dragons. The dragons are raiding the vikings’ livestock and destroying their homes. As a result, they want to kill the dragons. During one attack, Hiccup brings down a dragon, but nobody believes him. He finds the injured dragon, but he is too kind-hearted to kill the dragon. Instead, he helps the dragon fly again and names him Toothless. They become friends. Toothless is discovered by the other Vikings, and they use Toothless to find the dragon’s home.

The adult Vikings want to destroy the dragon’s home and send many ships there. However, Hiccup has visited the dragon’s home with Toothless before. He knows that just the huge dragon is bad. The other, smaller dragons are kind. They are only raiding the Vikings’ villages to feed the huge dragon. The adult Vikings do not believe Hiccup. So, Hiccup and his friends ride dragons and fight the huge dragon too. Hiccup and Toothless kill the huge dragon, and then the Vikings and dragons have peace. Vikings and dragons become friends and live together.
